One of my favorite parts of the movie is when Jim Lovell imagines himself on the moon. It's kind of a small scene, but it's really powerful. Lots of thoughts and emotions run through my mind while watching it, like sadness, but also hope and joy of what it would have been like for the astronauts would have been able to land on the moon. It's a brilliant moment as well as one of the most powerful and touching. And the music of course is a huge part of what makes it so memorable :)

Heart broken at the loss of this great and inspirational musician who's baton has come to rest one final time. RIP James Horner.

This is one of my favorite scores from this movie….aside from "The Launch" of course!! The woman's voice is just so hauntingly beautiful…. And the chorus….ahhhhh….. Hands down still one of my favorite film musical scores/soundtracks of all time!!!!

One of the best soundtracks of all time! I love love it! The theme song is fantastic and unforgettable and fits perfectly with every moment of the movie. I can't imagine the film without it :D the soundtrack should have won an Oscar

I remember going to see the movie the very day it came out. I am shocked that it's been almost twenty years since then, and it was twenty-five years from the real-life incident until the film's release. Time flies so fast.
