Oh yes, the one that got away, I know this all too well. Four years ago, I fell in love with the man of my dreams, it was literally an answered prayer. I am not really particular on the looks but rather the qualities and he has everything I have ever wished for and more. I was so in love with him, so much so that I was convinced he would be the man I would spend the rest of my life with, until he left me for his ex girlfriend, who is now his wife. Before he married her, he told me that he knows that he has hurt me so bad, but our time together is something he will never forget and will always remember until he dies, however, the 9 years they were together etched a deeper mark in his life than the few months we had. Now, I have a boyfriend who loves me so much and whose kindness I do not deserve. Dont get me wrong I do love my boyfriend and I am willing to see us through to the very end, but our relationship just does not come close to what I had with my ex. And today, of all days, I saw saw an FB status of him and his first born in the hospital, a beautiful daughter and I cant help but listen to this song as I shed a few tears to the one that got away.

I usually don't like live performances because the crowd singing usually sounds so horrible…but this was just so beautiful even the crowd singing was just …I'm in aw

When the audience sings it with her I lose it every time. Music is so universal. You don't have to have written something to feel it as heavily as the writer. Thank you for sharing, Adele.

i DARE you to watch this and NOT cry. I triple-dog dare you. No one i have ever encountered have wrought such emotion from one song. And this has to be one of the greatest performances of the song. I usually don't go for the "audience participation", but you can see how the crowd singing affects Adele. This video truly captures the gut-wrenching emotion of this song. Magnificent. Simply perfect.

This stage.. this performance.. this moment.. i don't think i've ever watched a moment like this during a performance. The artist and the audience in one space, thinking about the same thing, feeling same emotions, and just let it all out. The connection and emotion is just… raw. I didn't plan to cry but when they started singing with her, a tear just slip by silently. Because i felt the same emotions they felt. The same connection. That was amazing.. Adele deserves to be up there as one of the greatest artists of all time :)

Favourite part of this video: until they sing with her on the second time through the chorus, you could hear a pin drop in the audience for almost the entire song. THAT…is power.

the chills didn't stop once during this video, the speech, her voice, the crowd.. everything is beautiful about this. Especially the hall itself!

she broke up with me two months back after a two and a half years of relationship. As Adele hit her first note i knew i was gonna fall in tears, and when the crowd sang along i started crying. This is exactly what i feel right now Adele is the only singer on this planet who can sing with so much of emotion god dammit!
I wish nothing but the best for you baby! and that's all i ever wanted.
This is the first time in my life that i cried listening to a song. Adele may God bless you and may you live a 100 years more! tears

what I love about this is the fact that the audience weren't singing over her, that they were just relishing her voice because its so beautiful
