It is wonderful to hear Denise speak out about her daughter's adoption. .. Children who have late delays reaching their milestones are more common then we think and talk about. Every child is different and will go at their own pace reaching their milestones. Just because the textbook says they should walk at 12 months doesn't mean that is the norm! Our daughter was diagnosed with Hypotonia at eight months old and this CONDITION NOT DISABILITY affects every part of her body from vision, speech, walking, eating, crawling, sitting standing, playing, etc. More people should talk about "Hypotonia" low muscle tone and the treatments that are available to help them such as physcial therapy, occupational therapy, speech thereapy, feeding & swallowing therapy as well as DI therapy for play time. We need to help our children anyway we can and be the voice & advocate for them. Thank you Donna Finn

She is so pretty and young looking. One would think after putting up with Charlie Sheen's bull, she would like an old woman.

adopting someone else kid especially disabled is a huge mistake especially when you got your own crosses to bear. the kid needs professional help from a nursing staff not a single hollywood power mom on tina

Good for her. She still is a strong, good person. Even though she didn't remarry, she still went on and had her family.

Good for her. I'm glad she's happy. The little girl is gorgeous and she seems happy as well. My nephew had some developmental issues and believe me once those challenges are worked on and met, the rewards are fantastic. Hang in their Denise. Keep loving that bundle of joy no matter the challenges right now. They get better.
