I heard about Dr. D. Klinghardt some time ago. I have had Lyme for 22 years and been through an enormous amount of meds, therapies, etc. etc. homeopathic therapies. I gave up the last couple of years, with new co-infections and the lack of compassion, understanding and knowledgeable Lyme literate doctors and family members not having the wherewithal to assist and help with the process of the illness. I have begun to listen to this doctor. I have spoke with a couple of doctors whom have been to several seminars that Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt conducted. I am trying to approach this issue again from a different direction.

I'm so glad he mention additional vectors, because I did get my probable lyme from some type of mite – probably one type of bird mite or a tropical rat mite. I really think that Robin Williams may have actually had some type of lyme that were at the root of his issues.

Sooo, Dr Mercola, did you ever imagined Lyme Disease could be that complicated infection and hard to diagnose and treat? Dr Klinghardt has the knowledge indeed but also the compassion because he has suffered it himself for looong time! Thank you for all your help to the Lyme community Dr K and hope we can have Dr Mercola on board !

We don't know who has borreliosis until we have better tests that rely on antigens and test for all the outer surface proteins and genospecies and strains. Only once we can be sure that people are infected can we even think about finding a cure because you can't make a cure if you don't know the cause.

What an informative interview! Love Dr. Klinghardt! I had Chronic Lyme for over 25 years until being diagnosed in 2009. Followed many of his protocols as well as others. Been Lyme Free for 2-1/2 years now! Holistic is the only way to go!

odd that your vet will advise you to give your pet tick/flea meds, but yet "doctors" won't admit that humans are at risk as well. Maybe I should find a good vet to treat me

Very interesting. Listening to this for the second time actually.
It would be very usefull if Dr. Klinghardt could explain the "physical" or "biological" mechanism that link unresolved psycho-emotional trauma to poor outcome with Lyme disease or any other infection diseases. Even though I can personaly beleive it with my intuitive thinking, you have to admit that this sounds very weird and will be rejected right away by all conservative basic physicians and microbiologists as pure heresy.
