I don't think Gods cleansing. I think the devil has control. Now God is not intervening because the USA doesn't want God in their every day life (schools politics etc.). To bad but money and power rules today and thats some people's idea of God. So we have our free will to do good or evil and we all have to decide .Some day God will be fed up and some will get the raft of God.Peace….
Just looking at the tittle I'll say;, Most of those churches ,if not all of them, are sucking off the tit of taxpayers anyway, 2-3 fat checks a year and then they don't even have to pay taxes on it. you do the math, or facilitate a brain cell of common sense. Real churches are of the heart, not of a corrupted financial profiteers game. Don't think the Catholics have anything to do with half the properties owned too. the others owned by middle eastern nations, maybe this damn war going on over there is a mere profit game of religious factions. if so, it's time for a new belief, one that has no financial nor economic ploys for their toys.
I think Christians should be aloud to believe or practice their faith, as long as it doesn't harm others. Many can be and have been intolerant towards transgendered people and other LGBT groups. I don't think it's right to hurt people based on their beliefs or their lifestyle. I'm not a Christian but do I agree with killing them? No, of course not, but I'd like to have the freedom to have my own beliefs, even if it goes against Cnristianity, because the truth is Christianity and most religions are myths. That includes Islam.
The government should allow for gays to get married but you shouldn't have to force homophobic churches to do those marriages. Allow it to be done by the government and then the gay people can have their own ceremonies.
If that measure goes through, I don't think we have to worry about churches disappear and Christians being persecuted. God will punish this country so bad, no one will worry about churches disappearing. USA will have famine, war, riots, crashed economy, being taken over by communist police state, ebola epidemics, high crime, etc. USA will become 3rd world country. God might even see fit to have Iran and North Korea nuke USA.
I'm for Freedom of Religion, as long as it doesn't affect anyone else or their rights.
