I liked how they cut away from the birds legs getting chopped off to a human hand getting chopped off. Also love how Hannibal is so mad at the guy he just stabs him in the head out of anger. Such a great episode. Can't wait for more.

Lol the humor this season is so great, "Technically you killed him." Haha and "That may have been impulsive." xD When Hannibal stabbed him in the head though I literally jumped! It was just so fast, I mean it was obvious he was going to kill him, but wow haha. I am loving this season, the scenes with Will at Lecter Castle this episode were very mystical and beautiful.

That scene shocked me too. Disturbing is trying to figure out what the victim is saying between the noises and giggles. "I can't see" or is it "I can see?" Is he reacting to the pitch black irony to his demise or is he just rattling things off haphazardly due to the brain damage? Is he pleading to them? You get an idea of Hannibal's physical strength just by comparing how he practically shoved the entire ice pick through the guy's head not only with lightning fast agility, but it took Gillian Anderson's character two hands and a bit of effort to take it out.

I love Hannibal character so much in this show.
And Mads definitely influences my preference, because he recites in a lovely and fantastic way.

OVER THE TOP. I like the scene for the tension, the buildup. You know what's coming.

At the same time, just too reminiscent of the brain eating scene in Hannibal the movie. The character works best when they don't go for the gore.

That shot at the start with his reflection in the cleaver, that's one of the many reasons this show is such a treat.
