Excellent video. Very informative. I prefer to place my pumpkin seeds in a bowl filled with water when separating the seeds from the "pumpkin guts." The seeds will float to the surface of the water while the fibrous "guts" will sink to the bottom of the bowl. Keep making great videos!
Thanks for posting! It's wonderful to share ideas for healthy snacks. We also like them roasted using coconut oil as it handles high heat beater. Cheers and thanks again!
I will now try this, thank you so much for your clear instructions. I have grown 13 pumkins and will soon be trying out roasting the seeds and the puree.
can you eat the whole seed including the shell like the ones from butternut squash
Hi for the seeds do you still use the sugar pumpkin or can you use the the seeds from your carved pumpkins?

Great advice for roasting. But please Dani, as you rinse, catch the water in an extra bowl. Take it out to the yard or garden. Conserve, conserve.

So wait, what of I want to eat my seeds now? Can you cook them while wet, or do you have to dry them out for better quality?

You actually dont need to get rid of the goop, the big hunks of pulp you probably should but the slickness of the seeds is good not bad
Lounge on the couch and eat me up if I have left overs I take them to my friends and we eat them with delight
