We really shouldn't be surprised at how good he's doing so far. NRL he sees one solid line of defense where as in NFL he'll see a lot more space with blockers to give him even more space as if he needed any more Lol. Not to take anything away from the NFL, but probably 80% of players in Rugby/League can kill it in this sport.

the hayne plane going beast mode. this is what happens when you through a rugby league player in a game where you can block people. in rugby league no ones allowed to block anyone, its just fuck the person with the ball up.

the return wasn't that great it's cool cause he took it to the 33 yard line but I was expecting him to destroy it in special teams haha

yall gotta remember that he has to carry a little weight plus a helmet so u had to expect a lil less. ive been a 9ers fan since i knew how to talk n im a huge fan of rugby im Polynesian bt even tho i didnt expect much frm Hayne he passed my expectations that game. He did Great for a Debut transitioning frm rugby. There's still room for improvement bt imagine when he does improve, that'll be something. #HaynePlane

    The evolution of excuses.

"Hayne will never make the cut, he wont even make the bench, he has to compete against athletes who have been playing this game there whole life."

"The U.S.A has thousands of Jarryd Haynes"

"The NFL has an enormous talent pool of incredible athletes to choose from"

"To make the team he has to beat competition from 2nd and 3rd string players who have been playing since PeeWee"

    AFTER HIS DEBUT

"He's playing against 2nd and 3rd string players"

"Its not that impressive these guys hes playing against are second rate"

The bottom line here is that Jarryd Hayne is an incredible athlete. He's always been the man who can make big plays when under huge pressure. When the spotlights on him he performs. Lets remember this guy has never played a game of american football in his life.Hes going to make all those who doubted him as stupid as #26 and #34. He will only get better.
