To be honest, Fury Road set some impossibly high standards. Anybody should be nervous to make accompanying media for it. If it were Furious 7 things would be entirely different
of course you can't meet the movie 'standards' the whole reason the movie is so 'beloved' is that practical graphics have been fetishized to such an extreme degree that when a movie came out with cool action all done practically they orgasmed themselves into a coma that made them fall in love with the movie,…which seriously was not all that good other than the cool action and visuals,…if the exact same movie had come out, but CG it would've gotten lukewarm reception, and quickly been forgotten, because it's not as good as everyone claims! so, yeah, you aren't using practical visuals in your game, so obviously it won't be liked as much.
I wonder if there will be something like abilities to unlock or you will basiclly just have everyting(figuratively) right from the beginning. Hope it'll be a good game.
I am not hyped for this game. I learned my lesson when I have great expectations to Witcher 3. The cinematic and gameplay trailer doesn't really show the real game. It might be better in the PS/Xbox consoles but in regards to pc, we might have another drop in fps, lag problems, crashes, etc. The reason is that it's to expensive to make a pc version of the game. So unless we played the actual game on our own consoles, then we start to praise the game, but in the meantime might as well hope that it would be a great game without any problems. Can't wait for Just Cause 3.

I just hope the game lasts like 25+ hours considering it's an open world title and with end game elements to even extend the gameplay akin to GTA V.

Avalanche Studious should just make a "Renegade Ops" version of Mad Max. They are not good at story telling but they are good and making the game fun

Not feeling too confident about this but i dont want my next game to be uncharted trilogy. The wait is way too long
