Bye Sharapova your magical run is coming to an end. You get pathetic easy draw and now you are up against the queen.

Love that this is Sharapova's press conference and most the comments below are Serena fans talking smack. Says a lot really.

Sharapova trails WIlliams 17-2 in their head-to-head. She has not beaten Williams since 2004 during Wimbledon and WTA Tour Championships. In the last matches Sharapova has only managed to win just two sets.

I'm a huge Serena fan, but I respect Sharapova's hustle off the court. She may not play the game of tennis as well as Serena, but she plays the publicity and personality game like no other. That's "part" of why her endorsements are head over heels above the rest. Many of us want to see Serena break records, but Maria is laughing all the way to the bank; several banks. Oh…and they need to stop asking Maria about Serena. Her name is Maria, not Serena.

I think when Serena retires from playing tennis, the other players will actually compete against each other. They just have to wait a few years

Her Movement on court is Much better, she didn't get pushed around the court a lot in the Aussie final. Serena's serves did all the damage. I hope Maria can pull off this win and take the Trophy.

Last time Maria has beaten Serena in 2004. Maybe since 10 years she can do this again. I like Maria so much and she is strong player but Serena is Great. Maria, good luck…If you won't have any troubles with serve you have a chance.

She said she hasn't played Serena at Wimbledon in 11 years… she must have succeeded in wiping the 2010 beat down from her memory!
