But at the same time, it's the heritage and rights thing. Symbols can have more than one, or even hundreds of meanings. It all depeneds on what an individual believes. Take the swastika. Nazi's right? It's also a religious symbol in Hindiusm and Buddhism (known as the manji in japanese and svanstika in sanskrit).
