cierto a mi me contaron sobre la serie y no encuentro ni un vídeo de esta serie en español y me gustaría verla completa en mi idioma o por lo menos subtitulada por favor!!
I loved this when it aired on public television in the 80's in the states. I particularly remember the theme song music and I have always wanted to hear it again. Anyone know where I might give it a listen on the Web?
@mcworster I ouldn't like to see a remake, but a serie about his time in the Army before or after this series. He as going on to fight in the Napoleanic Wars
Thanks for the tip. I have checked Amazon and elsewhere a few times in the past…the only DVD's available are in Region 2, non-USA format, though today they list a DVD coming out in March, that I assume will be playable on standard USA DVD players.
When I watched the series as a teenager, I had to fight two older brothers, because they rather watched sports…. My mother looked for pictures in the TV guide, so she could surprise me with them, because she knew howmuch I loved the series…. These memories are so special to me, they will stay with me forever….
I was 15 when this show made it to America on PBS. I fell in love with Angharad Rees. She definitely activated my Y chromosome and sent my hormones into a overdrive. I wanted to fly to England and marry her.
thank you,i thought i would never see poldark again when the series ended.you brought alot of good memories, also one of the best masterpiece theater series!
Why does Robin Ellis deliver all his lines yelling? Wasn't the mic sensitive enough?

A remake? NEVER!!!
It has been. Just type Poldark DVD in any search engine. I used to watch it in the 1970's along with The Onedin Line.
