the heck with Earnhardt he wrecks rusty and acts like he cares so much for his safety. anyone who liked him needs to have his head examined. that's not racing and he died because of his foolishness. long live 43
Ernie Irvan! My favorite childhood driver. He didn't win as often as Earnhardt or Gordon or Wallace, but he was my guy. Might've won a championship if not for his wreck.
Amazing to see how many posts saying Earnhardt just "tapped" Rusty. Maybe so, but he caused one hell of a crash. But when Sterling "tapped" Dale at Daytona, the Earnhardt fans wanted Sterling banned from racing. But with Dale, "it's just racing".
Wow, what a difference in the racing. I use to be big into Nascar when I was younger. Then just became tired of it and I barely follow it now. But wow if it was like this kind of racing now days, id be hooked again.
if nascar would let this kind of racing back to the super speedways they would be a blast to watch ..but with all the new rules it has made it a merry go round of oh be careful .thats not what we pay to see
Watching this again one of the things I noticed was just how of a part the grass infield played in Rusty's crash. Once Rusty lands after getting airbourne the car digs into the ground and that causes the car to keep flipping as harshly as it did. Had the infield been paved like today's Dega I would make the assumption that the severity of the accident would have been far less.
He was very very lucky to get away with this and the Daytona wreck.
Two flips over daytona in talladega 1993
Cars movie The kings flip ir looks almost the same
Lookslike the crash scene on the movie "Cars"!
Would be suspended for that today.

Man, my left ear really enjoyed this.
I remember hating that announcer, he's so whiney

#3 would wreck his own mother to win a race, and he would force his grandma into the wall so his son could win a race.
That number 3 car that tried to draft, what a piece of shit.
"If you can't beat 'em- Wreck "em" – Dale Earnhardt #3
NOW THATS RACING – not like the crap today
He said at Daytona
Did the commentator say: At Daytona?
