I, and many Sorors, are so grateful to you for being there at the perfect timing to record this incident. This video helps us to understand her frame of mind during the arrest. I apologize if you have been rushed by reporters due to our speaking out, but you and your recording are important pieces to this case. Many of us just want to ensure she gets a fair investigation, and see that the TRUTH is revealed . A college-educated woman with a new job and a family, killing herself after two days in police custody over a traffic violation…LIES! She did NOT kill herself!
I've been pulled over for speeding. I was once even pulled over speeding when, frankly, it was probably clear I'd been drinking. I know, not good. And I've since repented that decision. But in neither case was I, a white guy, made to get out of the car. And certainly, in neither case, did I find anybody slamming my head to the ground. Hell, in the second case, I got off with a warning. So how on earth did this escalate to that? Second, I haven't seen yet HOW she died. But one has to ask, why would someone who is "suicidal" have just travelled that far for a job interview? That explanation reeks to high heaven.
If I had been told I was being given a 'lawful order' to vacate my vehicle on a failure to signal traffic stop.. I'd be pissed off too. This guy was another jack-booted thug wearing a badge not hearing what he wanted to hear — especially from a black woman.
A disgrace to the profession. What a waste of a beautiful woman's dreams and hope. Reform and consequence is needed in this broken system. I hope truth comes out and all people responsible get their just deserts.
The cop who attacked her was suspended from his job as a police chief elsewhere for acts of racism. After they reviewed the tapes they decided to fire him instead. This is what happens when police get fired for victimizing those they are sworn to protect, then getting shuffled to a new department where they continue the behavior that made a city already say they were not fit to be cops. Seen it before, we will see it again. If they don't get more than a slap on the wrist, if that, they will continue to escalate. In the Rice case, a 12 year old was murdered by a cop fired from his last job for being unfit to be a cop. Then he was hired in Cleveland to carry around a gun his trainer said he should not be allowed to. Yeah, I think these cops should face some long jail time for killing these innocent women and children, but I think whoever hired someone they should know is dangerous should serve some time as well.
At this point, after all the other hundreds of incidents involving the death of black people and cops, I'm honestly shocked when I see people still defending these cops. Wake the fuck up people. Many of these are absolutely unjustified crimes/murders. This isn't "oh well they keep running their mouths or trying to resist arrest" no fuck you. That shouldn't lead to death. And I'm sorry but I don't buy that she committed suicide one fucking bit. She had already gotten her new job and was about to start it. No way she was suicidal over a traffic violations.
I don't believe i read anything about what the CORONER stated her C.O.D was but i think that she probably sustained some type of serious head injury,especially since she said she couldn't hear,and they locked her up without first aid or medical treatment for DAYS. Because of their ignorance a concussion could have turned deadly and once they found her unresponsive they probably took it upon themselves to stage her death as a suicide to hide their incompetence. Im 15 but i go to a military school and have been trained in cpr and first aid. I also think it would be in civilians and the police best interest to automatically provide first aid or medical treatment after using any type of force even a little because accidents happen but THIS shouldn't even be considered an accident
Lol any time a black person is murdered, or dies after an altercation with cops (usually racist ones) you'll always have a flurry of white people (NOT ALL) that come and try to protect the cops, even in the face of evidence that shows foul play. There could be a video showing a racist cop killing a black person in broad daylight, documented racist incidents and all and you'll always have some of their groupies talking about "we need proof." The obvious hatred toward black people is soooooooooooooo prevalent here that people have actually had to DEBATE white people on whether or not killing an unarmed black is just or not. Marinate on that. Hope we find out what has happened to Sandy.

Who packs their clothes to move several states, goes to a job interview at their alma mater, receives said job, then hangs themselves after a traffic stop?
