    2015 is really the worst year on Nintendo history.

    Iwata is a gamer first, then a developer, then a president.
    We lost a fellow gamer, a great developer and a quirky president.

    "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer." — Iwata

    This breaks my heart so much. Without him I wouldn't be introduced to Kirby my favorite character & Hal laboratory. We wouldn't even have smash bros if he didn't help Hal become what it is today

    Terrible day for gamers everywhere. Even if Nintendo isn't your thing, if you like games, they wouldn't be where they are without Nintendo, so I hope everyone is paying their respects. Tomorrow usually has a fairly large local Smash Tournament every week. I'm definitely going and hope to see more people there than ever before to honor Iwata-san.

    I also at first thought that it had to be a joke. This also happened to me when JewWario and Robin Williams died. At first you think the internet is BSing you, but then you see all the other people talk about as it slowly sinks into you. A very sad day for Nintendo and gaming as a whole. Rest in peace, Iwata. );

    Wow, i'm speechless. This is the first I'm hearing of it. I didn't even know he was having health problems.

    The best in these cases, i feel… is to remember the person for the good things they achieved. Regardless of recent failures or whatever, Mr. Iwata's name carries a legacy that changed the industry, and he was an ace programmer too. Those are the kind of things to remember.
