If Aldo could take Mendes' blows he can take anything but then again every fighter can only take so much to the chin. The chin doesn't recover from punches.
Conors only chance is to stay on the outside and use jabs and kicks. He can not trade punches with Aldo. Aldo is way too explosive. Conor needs quick, straight punches and he may win. But the second he gets cocky and tries to trade punches he will get ktfo. I'm gonna call it right now….if Conor goes for a shot (I Don't think he will but if he does,) he will get subbed with an anaconda or d'arce choke almost immediately.

This looked more like a street fight then a UFC fight. With all due respect i think Conor is much more in control with his body and his movements, I could be incorrect and Aldo could beat the shit out of him, But if i'm looking at the reach advantage of Conor, and the way his throws diffrent punches and does diffrent combo's, I think Aldo can handle his left hook on his chin, My expectation is that Aldo is a though competator but Conor is going to dominate, It could go to distance,,,
The fact thst conor McGregor is the favorite in the aldo fight is fucking ridiculous, McGregor has a hance, and I think he will best aldo in the later rounds when he is always tired and finish him, or aldo will pick him apart for the decision

This was an an amazing fight. I have a lot of respect for both of these fighters after this. I'd say Aldo or Mendes would destroy McGregor after seeing the full fight, and I say that as an Irishman. I hope Aldo beats McGregor, then I hope Mendes gets his fight with him and does the same.
Notice how almost everytime Aldo hits Mendes it's because Mendes is coming in to throw a punch because he doesn't have the reach. McGregor has the reach and covers distance super well. Aldo won't get those free strikes against Conor. Conor will catch him with a left hook and that will change the entire fight.
Man, I always get impressed at how fast both of them punch in this fight. Connor has reach and great precision in his striking but I don't think he's able to keep up to the speed of both Jose and Chad.
On another note Aldo has been tested McGregor hasn't! I think Aldo is the best fighter in MMA at this point! His tech & winning streak is remarkable! Go Aldo!!!
