Samoa moni: I respectfully disagree with you. You forgot that were not in No'a ark or King Solomon days anymore. Welcome to the New Generation where everything is updated. No more type writers or ppl live in a cave. We can't live today and remenism in the old days. Yesterday was a history, tomorrow will be a mystry but today is a gift. Culture wise, yes! Morals and values, yes! Style and the new transformation is something we can't control. As long as I live, I still admiring and be optimistic about my Samoan Culture and our roots. Moses pass the ball to Joshua and Joshua continue the journey until he fulfill the promise that God gave to the ppl of Israel. I'm just saying. Just enjoy the ride and go with the flow.

I personally like when there is no music playing in the background, stuff like that you should ONLY! hear the people singing that way, you can feel the energy of the people . When you have ridiculous clown music like playing in the background it makes me sick.

The keyboard just kills it, and so does the gospel-like singing. The governments of both Samoas must be ban this abominable practice. I don't feel close to my roots at all with these type of performances. This is just a total destruction traditional Samoan art. This is why I don't watch Samoan dances anymore, for they have been corrupted by blind foolishness. When are we going back to the way we used to do it by just singing to the beat of the wooden gong or fala?
