I have been to Wimbledon many times at the peak of Tim henman tennis career so have witnessed the crowd 1st hand.. The patrioticness flag waving, painted faces.. Cheering and above all respectfully crowd, that's all cool and funny. …. But this, this was very big low in my opinion, It's not even about liking Serena or liking heather… The Wimbledon crowd (in this particular match) were downright rude.. I lost count of the number of times people gave Screaming OUT calls in the middle of rallies!!Screaming, shouting out before the second serve!! Clapping and applauding DOUBLE faults!!! (That's a BIG NO IN TENNIS) it's even stated in the office website/and programme, to not do that out of etiquette! Disrespectfully Booing when Serena spoke to the umpire (late in the 3rd)so he could ask for some silence.. Which she was well within her rights to do so… frankly anyone would have had enough well well before that… She had contained her for long enough. The list goes on and on…
The British/Wimbledon crowd acted disgracefully…unfortunately acting almost as bad as the Roland Garros crowd, which we have all seen many times, I don't have to list them here! The Wimbledon crowd has always been so fair and informed, I hope this is a ONE-OFF!
Well done to both players for putting on a great show, and very well done to Serena for winning with 15000 people idiotic fans against her
We'll done serena. I'm so glad she shut those unnecessary noise makers Up I mean the Wimbledon crowd. Yes serena is and will still keep wining and hurting some souls. All those haters should take several seats while watching her to wat she does and thats of course wining.
