For us to win the league we need to stick Memphis on left wing, and either play Herrera at the #10, or bring in another attacker to fit in with Memphis and Mata, me personally would love to get Kevin De Bruyne (might be a bit pricey), but hopefully not Pedro. Then obviously get another CB to replace Blind (Laporte or Otamendi) and then sell De Gea ASAP for for at least £28. Then buy BEND LENO, not cilleson and not Lloris.
Ashley Young was very lively and I think it's harsh that people are criticising his performance! Rooney was terrible today but nobody seems to be pointing that out! I agree Memphis should be out wide!
I agree,Young wasn't great at all today. I don't think he should start week-in week-out, because he does lack that bit of quality. I'm fine with him being another option in the squad though.
we was poor today. Very scrappy. The ball just moves sideways all the time and it doesnt spend enough time in the final third. Our top passers where smalling and blind( smalling was also one of the quickest in game). Them two center halfs are getting too much of the ball to the detriment of the likes of rooney mata and memphis.
the most frustrating thing though is our midfield player's tendancy to turn towards our goal and pass it back. Lvg seems to prefer players who do that alot (carrick and schneiderling) over players that dont ( herrera and schweinsteiger). If thats his philosophy than there is no way we gonna improve on 4th this season.
Young was rubbish? He's been told by the manager to put balls in the box despite there being no one in the box to put the balls away, and he has done his job, he was up against one of the fastest and most talented right backs in the league today, when he lost the ball he didn't give up, great performance from Ashley Young, not what I'd expect from his performance 8 months ago!

His end product isn't good enough and he made Kyle Walker look like Darmian. Besides he's just turned 30, he's not the future. He should be a squad/utility player (tbf a very good one).

schniederlin played okay his passing was a bit too adventurous but he will improve defensively he was fantastic
