What I find scariest about tornado alerts is how terrifying it sounds. Like, the announcer is telling you what to do and where to go, the Doppler radar is completely covered in a red mess, and then you realize that hundreds of people die in tornadoes and you panic.
The Weather Channel tones were better with the current ones within WeatherStar XL, WeatherScan, Intellistar, Intellistar 2, and Intellistar 2 JR the best of all
I remember the 2003Lawrence tornado shown on the KMBC video at the end. I used to live in Lawrence, and I remember taking my Weather Radio down to the basement. The tornado was 400 yards wide according to the Weather Radio. By the time it got to Lawrence it had shrunk but was still powerful enough to do damage in the SW part of town. My neighborhood was spared any destruction or damage, but it wassurreal to get up the next morning and drive past that part of town and see it barricaded off by National Guard troops and news crews from Topeka and Kansas City on the scene.

How in the hell are these scary? does someone just have a fear of tornado warnings? Because these are normal.
The third was 10 miles west of me
Lol that 3rd one sounded like the fire alarms at our school a weird horn
The second one was 45 minutes southwest of me
1:54 Tornado watch with the tibble twins! And at 2:10 its like they noticed it!
the alert tone at 1:16 sounds like an old cell phone
