I'm probably missing something, but why were they saying it's a "Masterpiece PBS" show? It's BBC One and BBC One HD.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poldark_%282015_TV_series%29 They should surely at least give some credit to the BBC for making the show?
Ladies of America … you have such a treat coming your way. I never knew what 'smouldering' meant until I saw Aidan as the Captain. Over here, there were complaining that the Cornish accents were wrong, that you could see telephone wires and burglar alarms on the cottages, that it wasn't true to the books blah blah. I couldn't care less. When Aidan's on screen he's all I see. If a bloke in full leathers on a Harley Davidson had whizzed past him as he was riding his horse along the clifftop I wouldn't have noticed! Enjoy America, enjoy!
Poldark is being broadcast on BBC 1 in the UK, but will air as part of Masterpiece theater in the US on PBS starting June 2015. This is from the PBS website: The new Poldark airs in eight exciting episodes starting in June 2015 on MASTERPIECE on PBS.
Well I watched this last night and have to say I missed the wonderful OLD JUD and PRUDY………..they were so fun and ugly………….also Desmarelda is without any "Larking" as the OLD one would take down her draws for a shilling! Well at least the OLD Ross had something to laugh about………….but having said that, I quite like the new Ross even though i'm still loyal to the OLD Ross as he was just too wonderfully rough!
I've decided I'm marrying him. You can all come.
Can't wait to watch this

He's just perfect, no matter which character he plays.
