What I find disgusting is that Andi confirm through multiple interviews that she was going to pick Josh regardless of who was in the finale. She even said that She and Josh already talked about rings and what style she liked. I don't know which date was film first or second but for her to sleep with Nick knowing that she was going to pick josh and knowing that they had a conversation about rings. I find that really disgusting and if I was Josh I would have broken up with Andi when I knew that she slept with Nick.
her psychology is pretty cunning. so she justifies the things that she does by saying that she did the right thing (good person) by not having nick go pick out a ring and propose to her.
This whole season was just horrible and the final was ridiculous. Andi made it very clear that she is far too independent to EVER settle down with a man and settle for a partnership of equals; Josh is one of the most obvious man-whores in the history of The Bachelor(ette) franchise who was GUARANTEED to cheat on her at the first opportunity (and only the most clueless women couldn't see it); and Nick was so blatantly creepy and manipulative that literally EVERY other guy in the season warned Andi about it (and she still chose him for the final two!)
I normally have a preference for one of the final two in each season. In this season, it was lose-lose: the pathologically manipulative creepy guy or the man-whore who was guaranteed to cheat on her. She went with the man-whore … and, inevitably, he was sleeping with other women even before the next season of The Bachelor started a few weeks later.
I have ZERO sympathy for Andi. OF COURSE he was going to cheat on you!
Why is what Nick said so shocking to some? Unless you live under a rock everyone knows what people do in the fantasy suite and yet almost all of them choose that path. Its no secret. Maybe thats how they narrow it down to whos the best or worse. I never liked her or Juan Pablo anymore. Its probably for the best that Josh broke up with her. They would have never worked out anyway.
I must be spoiled because, if I were Josh coming out on stage after learning Andi slept with Nick, I might not make an issue of it on TV but marriage plans would be off. There are just too many women who wouldn't do that (they'd chose one man or the other) and I'd probably prefer to marry one of them. This isn't social conservatism but just basic instinct. Contraception is a very recent development. 100 years ago your prospective spouse might be pregnant with another man's child at the altar.
