In memoriam: Blaze Starr (1932-2015) Your iconic legend has been burned into our memory. Whether they know it or not, the sex symbols of the last 4 decades owe a debt of gratitude to you. May your spirit RIP, and long may your legend live.

She has a kind of off-hand, improvised quality as she strips in this vintage film that's really wonderful & sexy.

When I was in my 20s, I was lucky enough to see her dance in person in the 1970s at NYC's Melody Burlesque, and she was great! Altho the Melody used recorded music, if I recall correctly Blaze had a live three-piece combo with her onstage as she did her act. The audience was clearly filled with some loyal fans who had seen her dance in her 50s and 60s heyday, too. As I recall, as she stripped she used a feather boa as her prop. Have never forgotten how much I enjoyed that show!

Yes this is Blaze Star appearing in one of Bettie Page's production company films. I even have pictures of Bettie on this same set.

It is the original sound track to the film. The same lupe of music that was used in "Teasarama" (1955) and many other betty page productions films

I feel so privileged to live in the 21st century, but sometimes I wish I was living in the 50's and the 60's. Or even the 70's. Civil rights issues and politics aside, it was indeed a gentler time. Shit, even the porn was classier.

After seein this I'm still remindd of how much she truly loved Gov Long. She would've done anything to keep him happy. As well, he really loved her. The only other thing he loved as much was the Great State of Louisiana.
