As a fan of Yes before the very first Yes album was released in the United States, I am deeply saddened by the news of thedeath of Chris Squire. Band politics aside his music & the music of Yes are a innate part of the fabric of my life. Yes music will always be listened to by me. Thanks foryour contribution and R.I.P. Chris. Your music lives on in people like me.
Yes perd un de ses piliers et membres fondateurs. Fondateur à double titre. En hommage, les 2 premières plages de son désormais unique album solo, "Fish out of water". "The fish" étant son surnom, vu sa propension à rester indéfiniment dans son bain. So long, Chris!
Rest in peace bro! Great player, great voice, great band. Now we're left with the dregs who are great and a fucking disaster of a future for real music. Thank you and bravo.
According to Keith Emerson, he approached Squire to join a post Nice band with him. This was before he even met Greg Lake. Squire was interested, but didn't feel comfortable with a lead vocal assignment. In a parallel universe, Tarkus was released by a band called "ESP".
