Yes Chris Squire R.I.P. First band I saw playing a revolving round stage. Back in da day On meeting Jimi Hendricks Eloquent and spot on interview on his memories of the times without that hazy nostalgia!
I just wish that Chris Squire,(my favorite bass player) was health conscious. He has aged so bizarre…he has truly let himself go/ he has turned into my Aunt Virgy .LOL He's still cool though but…just a little treadmill please ….so you may last longer!
A sad time indeed. I first saw YES and of course Chris Squire 45 years ago at then named Bryant College in Rhode Island, USA. Needles to say, I have been a Huge fan of YES and Chris Squires playing and singing ability. Many live concerts followed between my gigs and they never disappointed.
RIP to one of the greatest bass players and vocalists ever on this planet. You will be missed…
Worked with Chris's sister Cheri for a number of years & she too could recall the days of the Marquee & Speakeasy in Wardour Street. Chris was well known at the club & once got a very down at heel Rod Stewart in before he became famous. RIP.
seems like quite a number of bands changes strings before each show…but isn't it like new strings keeps on detuning themselves for a while?….how do they avoid that problem?
