Sad loss to music. A genius bass player, your lines were completely unpredictable and an absolute joy to listen to. Count myself lucky to have caught you when Yes were at their peak around Fragile/Close to the Edge. RIP Chris.
Almost close enough to Hold out your hand Span the distance, store resistance To attack is to retreat All you've got to do is Hold out your hand For the treasures of the universe Are lying at your feet
Chris Squire figured large in my musical ideals, in the early 70s. I will miss him.
The band Yes has been my fav band growing up and #ChrisSquire was the grounded heart that kept it together. He was such a powerful personality as well. I am grateful for all he gave my world and to others. #RIP#YES
Chris was an incredible force of energy on stage. A great performer, one helluvamusician, a bit of a ham… with Chris you got the entire package! he was a fearless entertainer and always delivered. I will sincerely miss his presence on stage… a rare oneof a kind gem…
R.I.P. to the grat Chris Squire. Along with the also late great Jack Bruce and John Entwistle, he was one of the few bass players who tended to get a lot of my visual and listening focus, both live and on record. A true legend that those posers in the rock hall need to be informed of. We'll certainly miss him.
When I was a kid, my friends wanted to be guitarists or drummers. I wanted to be Chris Squire. Thank you Chris. R.I.P.
thank you Chris for the best bass lines in the history of progressive rock.the world of rock music lost a great musician and composer.Rest In Peace.
