Nice video. Google is showing an animated Doodle today (7th July 2015) for honoring Eji Tsuburaya on his 114th Birthday. If this Doodle is not yet visible in your country, you can watch the Doodle from my youtube channel. You can visit my youtube channel by clicking on my name link from this comment.
Very nice! Thank you!
I grew up on TOHO spfx films as a child. The first film I saw in the theater was "War of the Space", 1959.
It's unfortunate that it wasn't mentioned about Eiji stealing money from his father's business to buy a camera. He, as the story goes, studied the camera, discarded it and made his own.
Wonderfully talented man and many of us miss his wizardry.
Pretty sure you all come here because google

This is an outstanding video. Exceptionally well made and well researched. Great job. All Godzilla and Toho fans should see this video.
GOD!

My question too. Was he using the Godzilla model for stop-motion? I read that there is a brief stop-motion scene in KING KONG VS. GODZILLA.
I like learning about pre CGI effects there more interesting CGI a good tool but I get tired of seeing it all the time I like varity
