Belfast is amazing. Northern Ireland is a beautiful place to visit and there is literally not a nicer and more welcoming people than those of Belfast and Northern Ireland.
I have lived in Belfast all my life and absolutely love the place. It hurts to say but Kit's opinion is somewhat true. There is absolutely nothing to do in Belfast. the most bombed hotel in Europe is just a hotel and the tourist board actually don't do anything with it, the Titanic… think everyone knows about the Titanic by now. Game of Thrones is probably the most exciting thing about Belfast now… So it is pretty boring.
Titanic was actually a world class ship. It was sunk by English men who sailed it into an ice berg, irish couldn't control the english navigation skills.
Whether you agree with hisview on Belfast or not Northern Ireland still continues to punch well above it's weight in many areas of the arts. Liam Neeson, Ciaran Hinds (plays Mance Rayder), Jamie Dornan, Kenneth Branagh, James Nesbitt. For a population of around 2 million people I don't think we do too bad on the world stage and I am proud to say I am from this tiny little country.
Well I love my city and little country! I don't live in Belfast but I live about 30 minutes outside and I am in the city regularly because of uni. It's a beautiful place full of great culture and history that Northern Irish people are proud of especially because of how far we have come. It's a city filled with friendly people, beautiful buildings and a great atmosphere. The night life is unreal. So screw you Kit Harington… I used to like him until he went 'all asshole' there. I find his comments very insulting and unprofessional and careless towards the people of Northern Ireland especially those who are GOT fans like myself who have supported the show from day one and Kit himself and his character. He really must be a methodical actor cause he really does 'Know Nothing'. I love Jon Snow but still…Kit…you're a dick.
