Quenneville, why you heff to be mad? He clearly got his hand into Bishop's face and you simply can't do that.

Beforehand I thought I waa going to cheer on the Blackhawks. The more I've seen, the more I've started to cheer on the Lightnings. No matter how much I love Teravainen, or how much I think Kimmo deserves the cup, I think Tampa Bay has really fought together like a team and deserves to win. A young team. Also, why would Blackhawks' trainer be mad because of this call? He just makes himself look stupid. Bishop is a great goalie and he seems very kind. I won't be happy at all if he gets injured.

In my opinion this is a very tough call and should have been thoroughly reviewed by the refs before making the call (critical penalty that nearly cost Chicago the game). However looking over it a few times I think this is a penalty. In the video you can see that Stamkos knocks the puck loose off of Saad right before he's is able to get the puck on net in a desperate effort to possibly get an easy rebound goal to put his team up front in a tight and critical game. Although Saad didn't have much room and was confined by Stamkos, at the same time he wasn't pushed into Bishop either, and him putting his hands up near Bishop's head the way he did sold it to me, Bishop seemed liked he may have embellished a little on this play however Saad clearly made no attempt to avoid hitting Bishop witch is a big indicator to a goalie interference call and if Saad were to recover the loose puck Bishop wouldn't have had an opportunity to make the save.

In my opinion the goaltender interference calls are too vague and need to be tweaked so that it's clear weather or not a play is ruled goaltender interference or not. This play needs to be shown at GM meetings in the off season and tweaking needs to be made to goaltender interference calls.

Bishop has a long history of diving. Surprising that the referee still calls it. That should be a penalty against every goalie, but Bishop ;).

Bishop is so "good" at selling these calls to the referees that I can't even blame the Hawks for getting pissed off about it.
