This was about power, plan and simple. This officer felt a way because of what he perceived as a challenge to his authority by Ms. Bland (may she rest in peace) He saw no fear in her, agitated the situation and continued to do so. How are you going to tell someone to put out a cigarette in their own property? WTH! I swear officers should be mandated to undergo annual psych evals to monitor their state of mind. And the female officer? you bleed blue not red huh? I saw everything my ass! He spent the rest of the time, creating his own narrative to dispatch, lying the entire time! Where is the civilian footage, the one he told to stop filming. By his own definition, he assualted her!
I noticed that she went silent it seems like she was injured doing the altercation. this video looks to be edited 32:38 the car disappear then reappear.
The cop was trying to find a reason to arrest her. I pulled up behind really fast and she changed lane. Then he unbuckled his weapon when approached the car. Wtf… he got her license, went to his car, and ran her through the system…. he was looking for something.
He began, conducted, and ended the entire encounter with an overbearing, dictatorial, and abusive attitude – because she did not behave in the way that he felt she should act. He provoked her, escalated the incident, and then used her understandable indignation as a justification to punish her.
He nicely baited her in to expressing her personal feelings then judged her for have them, as she explained the reason 4 the lane change. He was looking for the smallest reason to be provoked & that was as small as it get smoking in her automobile. That doesn't happen 2 white folks in Texas bet. This is truly sad for the 1 that lost her life. And it went just the way he wanted it to go. …4 smoking in her car and she had the right to be upset.
When I was in college I was pulled over by a cop for speeding. When he came to the window, I was a rude prick to him. For some reason, I was just in a very bad mood. Unlike Sandra, I wasn't smoking but the cop also asked me to step out of the car. I complied and was subsequently arrested. What would have been a speeding ticket turned into reckless driving charge simply because I was a dick to the cop. I ended up with a huge fine and 30 hours of community service. Looking back, I don't blame the cop one bit — it was my own damn fault for being rude. I should have known better. It's called accountability folks.
** My comment is based on the interaction between the cop and Sandra during the traffic stop — not her death while she was in jail.
I am a army veteran and you can tell she died during the traffic stop notice how the female cop ran towards the white cop as if it was to play it off because portion and duration of this video is clearly missing you have to be an idiot to think that she diedinher cell. smh sick you cant fool me clearly they killed her while dragging her to the car
You ever noticed when there is a video posted about a white cop doing something to a Black person..you have all these white people flood the comments sections and so called Black posters that come in and agree with the cop. that never been coming in the comments sections before. Hummm? Why?
He was going to write her a warning until she became argumentative and combative. I wish she had put out the cigarette, took the warning and called it a day. She had issues.
That cop was a coward

"routine" traffic stops need to end, this puts citizens lives in danger since they cannot defend themselves from the armed gunmen of the state.
Are you ok? What cop says that? He was looking to set her off.
“I'll search cha fo ya boss!!!" SHAME.
