Hey cult, i want a pc build with fx 8350 because i want to render videos and 8 cores will help a lot, I dont know what gpu to get, was thinking gtx 970 or r9 280x. any suggestions because the new r9 300's are out but apparently they are a bit of a let down…
I have a gtx 760 and I would say it's kind of something between the r9 270x and the r9 280. You can play most games at high-ultra 40-60fps depending on the game. Maybe one or two settings on medium, so that you can boost the fps a bit.
CultOfMush I don't belive that u have to have gtx 980 to play at ultra settings, because when arkham origins came out, they said that u need gtx 780 to max it, according, but it's not true. I could max it out with gtx 660, r9 270x, gtx 760, gtx 960 and all of these stable 60 FPS. But these are just my thoughts, maybe they changed their way of posting requirements.

so like a i5 4440 and a gtx 970 would run on high 60 to 50 fps not bad
