TO ANYONE HAVING THE 0000 CODE: Although this is general advice either keep trying to download the update or put it on a flash drive and install from there.
I just got the error on one of my consoles last night but after retrying the update it went through with no issues.
i have tried the above method but it still not working for me… i receive the same error again and again… what should i do next…. Any help will be appriciated

You can also download it on your tablet!!! (haven't tried phone, might work)
Plug your tablet (phone if works) into your computer. Download the update file. Click Save to save the console update .zip file on your computer. Unzip the file. If you're using Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, double-click the .zip file to unzip it. Copy the contents of the .zip file to the root directory of your Tablet's drive, it normally comes up with a pop-up when you connect it, say "Open File" or you can do that from "Computer" and choose the device (for example, E:). Do not copy the contents to another folder on the tablet's flash drive (for example, E:Files). Download it directly into the main file. Unplug the USB flash drive from your computer. Plug the flash drive into a USB port on your Xbox 360 console. Restart the console. When the console restarts, the installation program starts automatically. When prompted, select Yes to update the new console software.
This worked for me, I'm not sure if it will work for your phone, but I used my Tablet (Samsung Galaxy Tab1)
I have error code 416B-42FE-1380-267fF-C000-0185. I followed this process and was able to obtain the file. I copied it to a USB stick. I followed the process to download the update from the USB stick to the XBox 360. It started the download process and failed I have the same error code. Any ideas…
HI All, having system update failed. Can't update your console. status code – 3151-335A-B380-0502-COOO-0058. Tried your Binary to Decimal to Hexadecimal Converter but it didn't work It gave me update 13146 tried it on usb stick but no joy anyone have any ideas what I can try? thanks Ethan
