Joan Baez is the queen of folk and always will be. I saw her at Berkeley and I'm so glad I took time from my studies to see her. I also saw her at the sit-in in the Administration Building where I said "hi" to her. She is and always be my favorite, especially for her idealism.

This was the first album I ever bought in 1966. I still have it but having played it about a million times is not in quite as good a condition as this one

How she manage to escape both Johnson and Tricky Dick's kill squad's taking out famous singers who spoke against the USA's using young men in a illegal war in Vietnam was amazing.

I miss the days when we sat under the pine trees and my brother would start playing the guitar and sing…and we would be drinking SMB and Gin :)
