the thing about lance is, hes getting used to the hornets. If you look at his numbers, they pretty much mirror his rookie year. like, to a t. watching some of his play in indiana, they have a pretty different system. they space some more, set a lot of screens, its fast paced. Charlotte bball is brutally slow, the offense is stagnant, and big al's trusted with inside scoring. charlotte needed a sharpshooter on the wing, which lance is not. He's learning. give him time, he was looking pretty great up against the pistons the other night, and he was humble through that painful loss to the kings, didn't do anything stupid. He'll come around in a season or two.

Lance never walked around feeling that he was big time or a superstar…he accepted a fair contract and Is playing exactly like he's been playing, they're just judging him by wins and losses now, there's a guy in New York who signed a 136 million dollar contract and he don't seem to be doing too well either, pick on him, leave lance alone

Season is still fresh. Lance has gotten off to a rocky start. I didn't expect lance to lift off on this team quickly. If given the time, Lance could end up finishing this season strong. He just needs time. New team. New city. New system. It's all a brand new feeling for him. He definitely wont improve if he doesn't have Charlotte's full support. Lance Stephenson is just a guy people like to point at when the shit hits the fan. He's not a superstar, but the pressure and criticism he receives would make you think he is.
