I was surprised that Starky failed to puff up and float away over the heads of the audience…from time to time, otherwise he was quite informative.

As much as I didn't want to, I have to agree he's very much on point. Around the world "inalienable rights" are very much alienated from individuals. On the other end, perhaps the Western World appears to have too many rights? :/
great debate, the chair really should let the historian finish though.. by giving him 2 min warning or something similar.. no wonder he became distant.. he obviously knew his stuff..
A lot easier to cut to the chase and say what you mean in that time, than ours. What happened that we cannot and do not see people discussing and arguing politics at this understandable level today?
