    A very entertaining debate on Magna Carta with some very interesting insights and a rather unsurprisingly patronising and dismissive remark from Lord Faulk. +Donna Beckett #DianaRoseQC is on point. I was surprised that Starky failed to puff up and float away over the heads of the audience…from time to time, otherwise he was quite informative.

    Oh poor Starkey! I feel like he was made to play the fool too much here.

    As much as I didn't want to, I have to agree he's very much on point. Around the world "inalienable rights" are very much alienated from individuals. On the other end, perhaps the Western World appears to have too many rights? :/

    great debate, the chair really should let the historian finish though.. by giving him 2 min warning or something similar..
    no wonder he became distant..
    he obviously knew his stuff..

    A lot easier to cut to the chase and say what you mean in that time, than ours. What happened that we cannot and do not see people discussing and arguing politics at this understandable level today?
