Good evening. I just have a simple question that could be rhetorical, in regards to major league baseball pitchers and batting. From the proverbial baseball sandlots to the organized baseball settings of little league to all levels of baseball, batting tends to the first-and-foremost thing baseball players work on to improve but as a young baseball player becomes more accustom to pitching, the batting aspect tends to decrease. Since batting has been a main focus of young baseball players and a fundamental beginning skill and major league baseball pitchers have the lowest batting average of all baseball players, wouldn't the supreme athlete in baseball be a major league pitcher (not a legit triple crown threat) who can win 15 to 20+ games with an ERA between 1.0 to 3.5 5 and who can also field decently and bat around .235 to .270 with a little batting-power? To me, that would be more value because that's two baseball players in one and on the non-pitching days, that particular athlete can be pinch-batter or even (on some days) be on the game-day roster at another baseball position. One day, I would like to see an athlete like that in major league baseball (that'll be really cool).

Jon Lester is now 0-2 after 4 starts and his era is at 6.23, just give him about forever in a Cubs uniform to improve!! Cubs stink!!

1 game in, it is already more of the same for the Cubs. Why get on base if you cant get to home plate? Oh and our 100 million dollar ace only went 4 innings. lol
