It was probably made the same way that the fake Apollo images of Earth are made. The guy from TheNASAchannel claims they are paintings. I thought the images of Earth from the Apollo "missions" were possibly large physical models, but maybe like with the fake nuclear bomb detonation videos, these are faked in different ways as well, and they aren't all done the same way. Maybe some of them are paintings and some NASA jackass is told to paint that in, like the 666 or 999 in one of the Apollo images of Earth.
