Planetary science is just awe inspiring not just because of the distance to travel but also because the new discoveries of that entity that we never realized before.
Pluto having an active core is just, WOW!

why is this so important? who gives a shit if there's mountains, or valleys, or whatever ever on Pluto. that doesn't help anything, it's just useless knowledge. why even fuckin bother? worry about the problems on your own planet

Let the whole world be thankful for what the American people have given to us for free. America is the greatest nation in earth. I am an Australian. Amazing triumph of staggering proportions.

Isn't NASA a military pay-op being perpetrated on the American people? Not so sure we are being told the truth about the nature of space and our very own planet….

This planet was discovered and photographed by scientific endevers by the British 50 years ago. What right have the Ara gent Americans without consultation with the British to name anything on this planet as American without permission from the British ?? This is turning into a diplomatic incident ! Nasa better tell the culprit to go on holiday and retract such remarks !!! ASAP. Clearly the British have their own names for such features .

My thoughts about the names that involve Pluto… I would have loved if the Disney tradition would have been carried on with the moons… like Mickey, Daisy, Donald, Minnie… etc… One last observation… Pluto's "heart" looks more like Mickey Mouse ears… lol ;)

Any one with asenseofcommonsense, Would know what they are looking at when looking. And any one withcommonsensewould know that a moon is created when a large object impacts a planet and is to large to beabsorbedby the planet. so at the moment of impact every thing heats up and it is pushed back out as it swirlsaroundthe planet leaving molten in its path and over time colling takes place andpushingit back out heading in to space over time farther and father. Just like at our very own moon when it impacted Earth it left 3 fractures leaving the earth scars as it cooled and as you all know the moonmoves away from earth slightly every year if you rewind time it will bring it back to earth at that very point of impact. so the markings you see onSharon are scares of the impact and the dark eye holes onPlutoarealsofrom one of the moons impact. withPlutohaving 4 moons it is clearPlutohas taken a beating. the crack you see onSharon is the same you see on earth notcannonsfrom activity but a fractured scar from a moons impact. maybe they need to start telling the truth a little bit more. And if there is any activity insidePlutoit would be the shifting over time for settling the wound meaning if you poke a hole in an orangeeventuallythat hole will fill; up with asubstance and or after shocks will happen wile every thing settles over time. Just like earth and she is doing the same. They just need to stop buttering up the truth to createhappiness and to hide the truth about what can happen and theeffectsof it!!!

Can anybody explain to me why Pluto looks different in every picture in terms of the color? Sometimes it's colorful sometimes it's gray. The most recent is Orange.

    It's probably a simple thing. But I just don't know why :/

They call the asteroids rotating around Pluto "moons" but yet Pluto isn't considered an actual planet of the solar system… NASA… How fucking stupid can you be? Does that mean the huge asteroid belt rotating around our solar system between Mars and Jupiter is considered a bunch of moons rotating around the sun? How about all the asteroids rotating around Saturn? We should call those moons too! #NASAfails
