This was so hype. I can't believe Reggie and Hungrybox both agreed to do this. Also the comments need to take a chill pill and understand that the fake trash talking was in good fun and was not hostile or mean spirited in any way.
It is fucking sad that the president of a company that is known for making games for kids is a better trash talker than most of the Smashers at this year's Apex Salty Suite.
Why are pro's so adamament that they make people hate them? Having no modesty, no sportsmanship, you are really going to trash the president of Nintendo when you should be shaking his hand and thanking him for allowing your dumb ass to have this game, to be at this event and to even grace you with any attention at all. Who cares how good you are with jiggly puff, you are terrible at being a person.
Maybe I'm retarded or naive but that diss Hbox said wasn't bad at all. It is fun to be in a rivalry. It was all fun and games. Guys don't over think it.

Being the president of nintendo doesn't mean he is a professional gamer. He said it himself that he works at a company 16 hours a day while hungry box plays 16 hours of smash. Now those numbers are exaggerated but the point is….he works at a company and that doesn't mean he is pro at everything. It is reasonable and not sad at all.
I am surprised to how badly he has done however. It is odd to me because it looks like he never had played smash at all or maybe he isn't capable of handling Ryu or maybe he isn't capable of adapting to the old again. What I mean is that…if you don't play smash for like 9 months and then play it again…you would get use to it again quickly.
Also I was disappointed. It made me so hyped and when I saw Reggie losing quickly…I'm like "Reggie why?" Lol. I love that dude haha
Happy they played the real game with all items, complete stages, was nice that they catered to the majority of the fans. I get no items, stageless is popular with the smaller comp crowd (thats cool) but hopefully they keep the Nintendo tournaments with the full challenges featured in the real game. Hopefully the comp scene follows suit, its far more exciting, challenging and entertaining.
