looks like a just an elaborate attempt to sell consoles, pc IS the technology, you cannot replace it, especially in gaming!

    Hi,

I rarely talk about non-GIS stuff here but this presentation about Nvidia Shield is super-awesome. I play games lot on PS3 and was thinking for buying a PS4 console but after seeing the SHIELD I changed my mind. My favorite game Crysis 3 and other good games are available in SHIELD.

Is it me or presequel looks like shit?
And what is so fancy about GRID?The fact that you have even less rights to your product than digital distribution?

Saw quite some bended facts in this presentation.. Makes me worried for the other things they say being completely true as well…

At least it all sounds wonderful. Let's hope they can make it happen..
    - is it me or did they just "forget" to mention the price of their subscription service you still have to buy the new AAA games for?

If they would have announced this thing at the same time as when sony and microsoft announced ps4 and xbox one this thing might have been a success considering it cost half as much as the ps4

Does the Nvidia Grid, the triple aaa games utilise the Nvidia Shield Consoles hardware or is it just streaming? Also it would be awesome if you can use the Nvidia Shield tablet as a second screen like the Wii U.

Btw they made a mistake at 1:48:14

    1980's: Nes

    1990's: Sega Genesis

    2000's: Ps2

    2006: Xbox 360

1:51 You say this isn't possible on a modern day consoles and then you say this is run by the cloud, that doesn't make any sense since the cloud barely requires any hardware.

100mb should be enough to do 1080p 60fps wright? Cause that's all I got upgrading to anything higher in my country would cost at least $400 +
