This is my first Ramadan as I recently converted to Islam. I know it doesnt start till june, but im already preparing myself for it. I think this is the hardest thing ive ever had to do. Im a big eater and I fast walk 20+ miles a day. My job is delivering door to door hand bills, so I sweat alot and lose a lot of water. I pray Allah will give me the strength I need to make it through the fasting. Praise be to Allah, Ever Merciful, All Merciful.

I, myself am christian and my loved one is muslim, i shall fast with her and her family as a sign of respect and goodwill. I believe that God sent many prophets including Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha etc… In different places, times and cultures. Morally speaking, all these prophets preach good moral value and provide us a way to get closer to God. It is only our choice to choose a path which suits our thinking and cultural background the most. Al salamu alaykom, may God/Allah be with you.
