"The Honeymooners" did indeed air on November 5, 1955, but the episode that was aired was "The Sleepwalker." "The Man From Space" didn't air until December 31 of that year, New Year's Eve. Ding.

Lorraine's family has been established as the Baines family. Baines is an Irish name. While not all Irish people, including Irish-Americans, are Catholic, the majority of them are. In 1955, John F. Kennedy was a U.S. Senator who had already been on national television, a known hero of a war that ended only 10 years earlier, the son of a well-known public figure, and one of the best-known Irish Catholics in America. "Why the hell would a street in California be named after a living Senator from Massachusetts?" would have been a fair question in 1955 California. "Who the hell is John F. Kennedy?" would not. It was a cheap laugh that makes absolutely no sense. Ding.

Similarly, Chuck Berry released "Maybellene" in June 1955. He was already a star that November. He needed no help from a 5-foot-4 white kid who looked like Alex P. Keaton. Ding.

I can understand Lou not wanting any rock and roll records in his Cafe in 1955. But rock and roll had already been around for a year — maybe longer, depending on how you want to define it. No one should have been reacting to Marty playing "Johnny B. Goode" as if it were a new idea. Berry, Bill Haley and Fats Domino had already had their first hits. Ding.

Marty and Doc know the exact MINUTE that lightning will strike the clock tower. But they don't know the exact SECOND. For all they know, it could be at 10:04 and 59 seconds. They could be almost a minute off. Zap! I mean, ding.

Dave has a job in an office. Fine. But it's a decent suit. This suggests that he makes a decent amount of money. Besides the already-dinged "You still live with your parents?", does he really need to work on a Saturday? What, did Marty's messing with time co-mingle with Chris Reeve's messing with time at the end of "Superman: The Movie," resulting in Marc McClure (Jimmy Olsen in that film) NOT fully benefiting from Marty's changes? Ding.

It would have been so easy for Linda to answer Marty's "What the hell is this?" by saying, "Mom and Dad invited us over for breakfast," instead of just, "Breakfast." It would have shown that things had gotten better for all the McFlys, instead of us not knowing if ANYTHING was better for Linda, and knowing only that Dave has to work on a Saturday morning, which isn't a whole lot better than working at Burger King. Ding.

It's established in the 2nd movie that Biff still has a grudge against the McFlys in 2015 — maybe even in 1985. It's certainly possible that he could have emotionally recovered from a sock in the jaw from the biggest nerd in school to become a success in automotive maintenance. (Who knows, the damage to his car in 1955 might have even inspired that.) But, even if he didn't swear revenge on George (regardless of whether or not he would have gotten it in the intervening 30 years), why would Biff be taking care of the McFlys' vehicles? More likely, Biff would have said, "Fuck you, Butthead, you knocked me out back in '55, so I don't care how much you offer me, I ain't doin' shit for you!" Ding.

Ok, Doc Brown at around 5:50 got shot with an AK-47 in the chest. No blood came out at all. Also why is it in a movie when someone gets shot the person that shot them never goes to make sure they are dead by going up and shooting them in the head they just assume they are dead.

you missed the "roll credits" sin when the Doc talks about sending Marty back to the future. I feel betrayed.

1955 is just as far away from 1985 as 2015 is.

And we're now watching this in 2015.
    Does anyone feel old yet?

Btw, there are still no hoverboards :'(

You know, something I was thinking about was the movement of the Earth around the Sun. Would it be in the exact same place in 1985 and 1955? Wouldn't Marty end up in the middle of space when he went back in time? In fact, the movement of the galaxy alone would make it impossible to remain in the same exact spot on Earth. Although I suppose there could be some kind of inertia that carries over through time travel or something. Anyone have thoughts on this?

I lol'd at the "Why would Marvin want to do another song after he screwed up most of Earth Angel." but I didn't get the next complaint. Chuck Berry being influenced isn't a problem with the movie. That was the joke.

If the old Biff in the next movie dies because he changed things that erased his past and cant exist since the new Biff takes his place.
Then why dont "poor kid-Marty" die in favor of new "rich kid-Marty"? The new timeline clearly contains things that the old Marty have no part in.

Funny note…. The changes Marty and doc makes in the third movie makes Biff change his jumpsuite from light green to purple.

I know this is for entertainment value. but:

    1. Since Marty is a slacker, he's probably made a habit of NOT paying attention to the time to leave for school. So, the fact he's wearing a watch doesn't necessarily mean that it was for him to keep time.
    2. The reason only Dave's head was missing from the picture that Marty first showed Doc is because there was an documented frame of time Marty had to get George and Lorraine to fall in love with each other before the entire picture vanished, along with Marty himself.
    3. Marty was not hitting on his own mother in the parked car outside of the gymnasium. He even cringed when he saw her in a strapless dress, showing how uncomfortable he was with seeing her dressed that way despite her being a teenager. He also turned an awkward eye when seeing her smoke a cigarette, and drink liquor.
    4. The reason George was able to sock Biff square in the face with his left fist was because Biff had a hold of his right hand, while pressing down on the same arm, with both of his hands.
    5. The red headed jackass that tried stealing Lorraine away from George did not witness George knocking out Biff. It was a test to see if George had the guts to keep up his "stand up for himself" momentum, or if his sucker punch on Biff was merely a fluke.
    6. Red Thomas was probably in his early 40's back in 1955. So, it wouldn't be unusual to see him only looking 10-15 years older in 1985 when the dim lighting covered up any grey that was in his beard or hair.
    7. The fact that the Libyan terrorists had their van lights on when passing by the Delorean after Marty arrived back in 1985 isn't an inconsistency. When the Libyans first pulled into the Twin Pines Mall, now the Lone Pine Mall, they probably shut off their headlights to keep Doc from thinking that they hadn't followed him into Hill Valley. They only turned them back on when Doc saw the van in the distance.
    8. Lorraine and George can give credit to Biff for them falling in love with each other because from the time Marty left 1955, neither Lorraine or George physically saw Marty for another 30 years until he returned to 1985, and probably forgot what he looked like during that time.

nice video but i gotta disagree with 1:35 because the libyans could've used a wiretap. Remember the phone call to Marty at the beggining of the movie? I bet thats where they got their info.

This analysis is, in itself a sin.
    1) 0:09 Yes Marty has a watch, but as explained in a few minutes, this is marty's 4th tardy in a row. Clearly there is a bigger problem to his lateness than Doc's clock experiments.
    2) 0:21 Im not sure that Mountian Dew Hat is reacting "for the first time" or is it a "is this kid still hanging onto my car" type of look
    3) 0:30 An all night porn theatre is not so much of a reach and "Orgy American Style" is an actual movie. Look it up.
    4) 0:42 is it so much of a reach that the bully gets promoted to superviser and has his subordinates doing his work for him? I think they call that delegation.
    5) 0:55 Dave is not "explaining the relationship" hes simply responding to the request that they all go and visit him in prison. Like "I dont have to goto the prison, hes YOUR BROTHER"
    6) 1:01 Actually the shot is entirely possible. The Deloren's doors can open fully with almost no side clearance at all. you can see this when doc opens the door at 1:13

The first real movie "sin" occours when they are standing in the fire. Ugh.

1:27 yes dogs know when cars are coming. Its called dog hearing. They dont need to see the headlights. Einstien heard that air cooled VW engine coming.
1:33 There are a million ways plausible the Libyans could have found you in the mall at 1:30 in the morning. Why does everything need to be explained these days? Are movie audiences really that dumb?
My favorite "Sin" at 4:36… Marty is a 17 yr old HS kid. What make you think for a second that he has any concept of time, especially that the first point they made in the movie was that he doesnt, yet you still make this a sin?
5:47 Doc couldnt change anything else. Marty still needed to think doc was dead to take the delorean back to 1955.

For sin #11: Doc could have had his phone tapped, after all, he called Marty the day/night before. Or he did it from a payphone.

So, we're just going too skip the fact that there are two time machines? The one Marty came back in, and the one that Marty when back in time with after Doc got "shot",since there are two Marty's now. So, Back To The Future is one giant loop.
