I am going to binge the entire series again… not to mourn monty, because mourning never brought anyone back, but to remember the great things that he has done, the people he has touched, and the people he will continue to touch even in death.

I've seen this on Netflix forever and never clicked it because i thought it was just some random weaboo shit made out of MMD. I was sooo wrong. This is better than 90% of anime on Netflix and in general.
I love this series and i wish i would've gave it a chance earlier! I love the fighting scenes and they really reminded me of those Dead Fantasy videos. I should've known it was from the same guy! RIP Monty Oum. He was soooo talented :(

Today (January 30th) RWBY series creator Monty Owm is in the hospital in critical condition. It is unknown if he is going to recover. I have no idea if he will be able to read this but he must know that his show has brought a large number of people who would have never met together though this show . You will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight. Keep on fighting

I've been a fan of Roosterteeth since the beginning, specifically of RvB and their Fails of the Weak. After rewatching every RvB episode ever, for the 6th time, I decided that I should try something new, then I found this. It's…different… I can see how people would like it, but I've never been able to ever get behind any kind of anime and I don't think RWBY is going to be any different. Don't get me wrong, Monty Oum's work on this was magnificent, and I'm sure lots of people put a lot of work into this, but it's just not for me… I'll stick with my RvB…I just like it more…It is, after all, my favorite series ever, of all time. ;)

Just watched RWBY over the last couple of lunchbreaks. Its a anime-esque thing that is pretty cool. Haven't watched any anime for some time but I liked this. Kick ass teenagers at a school teaching people to be more kick ass and fight monsters with magic and stuff.

I reccomend. Each episode is 5-10 minutes long so doesn't take too long to go through the first season (16 episodes)…

This looks pretty good, but I cannot bear this animation style. It's like amateur animation. I was under the impression RWBY's design team was a lot bigger, but I guess it's not like that.

So I watched the first episode of RWBY which I found through Netflix, and at first I thought this was something cool that I could share with my daughters (8 and 6). The character design of Ruby Rose is cool, but then I saw the rest, and I really don't want this to be the image to which my daughters aspire. I know this is going to be a serious problem going forward, especially for superheroes and anime. It saddens me.
