Even my mum says Serena is just that 'fat black girl with big boobs' while Maria is that pretty, tall blonde girl…and you wonder why she makes money than Serena? Even my mum, who is 58 knows marketing tactics, all you need to be is a semi talented female player and still pale in comparison to a less pretty black female player who dominates and still make more money than them…
I love Serena but I am always utterly amazed all the time when she says "It is always gonna be a tough match when you play such a great champion like Maria." I know deep down inside she is not really believing that. Come on Serena you have beaten her 18 times. I always laugh when she starts of saying that. Before they even start to play she mentally is up a break i the match, Maria despite all her efforts like Patrick said in the NY Times interview that Serena is really in another class, when she raises her level Maria cant do the same. Serena is mentally and physically superior to Maria. And Maria knows this. I think Serena is gonna play for 3 more years just to piss off all the girls in the WTA lol.
Great interview.. Serena has got to a point in her career where she is the most transparent and honest she has been! That transparency and relaxation when she plays is showing in her tennis…and the fact she keeps on winning and winning shows this: She's not just talking the talk… she IS walking the WALK!
