Applauded Heather's winners, praised Heather after the match, didn't break her racket or cursed during the match when the crowd was visibly against her yet all of y'all still find a way to call her "arrogant, unlikable, spoiled, classless etc" All of y'all call Serena arrogant for celebrating after a match she won when that a regular Human reaction epically sense she was so close to defeat.

No player before her is in her league she is far and away the greatest tennis player of all time . After those two US Open victories over Vika in 12 and 13 ,along with the french open drama a few weeks ago and now this ,no one can come close to her greatness

The crowd was down right disrespectful. Yes, we understand ya'll wanted Heather to win but, c'mon… This wasn't even Serena at her best and she STILL won. That should tell you why she is and will always be The G.A.O.T.

Keep winning Serena. You should've lost but you didn't. When you come within a whisker of losing but still win it makes them even more malevolent. You are too black for them. Wish you were even blacker, just to piss them off even more. You give heart attacks to friends and foes alike.

Proved that she's the best of all time, and if it was anyone else out there against Heather they would've lost.

I think Serena learned alot from winning that French open. She even said 2 years ago, she would have never won that match! True champion and a real student of the game always growing! Thats scary!

Serena you weather every storm thrown at you. A true GOAT. Heather played brilliantly, but Serena was playing against her plucky opponent, history, herself, and the crowd which was anti-Serena all the way through. Makes me cackle when people say they've grown "indifferent" or "bored" of her. When she retires the WTA tour will be a shadow of itself, and you'll be bemoaning her retirement.

And yasss the shade she just threw it every opponent she faced, she know damn well Venus is the best player she has faced.

Don't be surprised when all the Serena haters are gonna bandwagon and support Venus on Monday with the weak ass excuse "she's more graceful than her sister" bs when in reality they don't give 2 shits about Venus. They know that Venus won't win the title and they'll be happy that Venus wins as long as there isn't a player named Williams in the final

A real role model here. Heather played absolutely amazing, and the way Serena was able to pull trough that, her mistakes, the pressure and the crowd, with the attitude she shows here, speaks a lot about here both as an athlete and as a human being. Keep it up like that Serena, you're already a legend.

Right. Serena was not playing her best. All heather had to do was keep moving the ball around cause Serena's footwork was horrible today. Let's not make this anything more than it needs to be. Heather has nothing special about her game. It was just Serena not being match ready. She's trying to work her way into this tournament which is risky for her.

As much as I wanted Heather to win, the crowd was atrocious. Boo'ing a player because she's winning points against the home girl? Very un-Wimbledon like

When did Wimbledon start booing a player for complaining about them screaming out DURING points? I'm getting so I hate Wimbledon b/c of how racist they've been towards the sisters. No way in hell a 5x champ like Venus should be playing on Centre Court. Wimbledon is now the most dislikable slam for me now. They were disgusting for them to be sooo "classy." They're shit to me.

I hope all the people who say Serena never gives her opponents credit, watch this video. She gives Heather plenty of credit, as she should because Heather played a great match. This is nothing new. Serena ALWAYS compliments her opponents, just rarely do we ever see a press conference in length like this one. People take one quote from an article they read where she says "I wasn't my best today," and turn that into 'she never gives credit to her opponents.' ….This has never been the case.

Respect to Serena. True championship pedigree and experience pulled her through.
Heather played so well and kept chasing balls down and mixing the pace, which rattled Serena.
Serena and Djokovic are probably the best at never giving up until the very last point is over. Its just GREATNESS.

I was torn cus im British and wanted Watson to do well but Serena my fav female so was hard to watch.

Serena applauded shots and held her nerve VS a partisan patriotic crowd rooting for one of their own. Serena has had plenty of respect from Wimbledon crowds past and present and will continue to but this was different and rare scenario.

    We know Serena is LEGEND

The jungle cat is doped out of her mind on hormones, steroids and performance
enhancing drugs. According to an article about doping in tennis, she was not
tested in 2010 and 2011 at all. She should not be allowed to play against humans,
    let alone against women.
