Акула подплыла к австралийцу со спины, пока тот ждал подходящей волны для своего выступления. Спортсмен заметил рыбу в самый последний момент. «Я мгновенно отпрыгнул. Она продолжала наседать на доску, я пинался и кричал, – рассказал Фэннинг. – Вся жизнь перед глазами пробежала. Я ударил её кулаком». Серфингист не пострадал, однако из-за инцидента турнир прервали на день, сообщает The Daily Mail.
As a black belt in shark sciences and a self-proclaimed shark expert, I can tell that judging by the size of the dorsal fin, this was indeed a 50-75 foot shark. Possibly more.
Wow! This is why I don't get in open water. I probably could have been a champion swimmer too. Thankfully Mick is okay thanks to the quick reactions of the lifeguards. I was attacked by jellyfish as a kid, and that did it for me.
Obviously, this was a male shark trying to force Fanning to the altar. This is what happens when you legalize gay marriage. Liberals will probably praise this shark's courage for expressing his sexuality with the whole internet watching! Thanks for ruining surfing, OBAMA!
