Stephen A Smith is the only guy to talk for almost 5 minutes straight and keep getting louder.

Who ever doesn't think Wade is a max player is stupid. Wade is the strongest player in the game from what I see. It's too bad he has had the injuries he sustsined but that shouldn't take anything away from his game and what he should receive. People feel his finished and should retire? People are stupid man! Wade is better than everyone in the game and talking overall greatness and experience. The Heat are insulting Wade by offering him less than ten, wtf is that? Wades game is strong, people are foolish if they don't see that he's worth top dollar. If Miami don't feel to pay him then Phil Jackson should pick him up and let him show out in New York. Wade in a Knicks jersey would be crazy, the city would embrace him and it would be big for basketball. Wade needs to restart his career, playing with Lebron took a lot of his shine away, it's time for him to rebrand himself. Riley should of let the season go after whiteside and not stressed so much on Dragic. Riley should not have paid bosh all that money and should of asked him to sacrifice not Wade?! I like Chris but the only max player on the Heat should be Wade! Lebron left because he had issues with Rileys methods and Wade should do the same. The Heat are a mess because Wade won't be used to bring in another guy without getting paid for it. All round Wade is super max money, he would make any team with a good system contenders, Imagine him throwing alleys to Blake like he use to throw them to Lebron. Him and Paul would be unstoppable with Doc rivers coaching them.

Let's be honest people D-Wade isn't flash anymore and he doesn't deserve the money he wants. He's flashes now, he's very inconsistent. Some games he goes off, then some games he lands flat on his face. If I'm the guy running operations for the Miami Heat I love D-Wade, for what he did for the city, but he's not the all-star caliber player he once was. On top of that the Heat are in the east, they will always be in playoff contention no matter what. So we can live without Wade sorry not sorry.

Right now, everyone who is commenting on this rumor is saying there are only two main options for the Heat – 1) Give Wade the $20 million per year that he wants and trim the roster which might include Whiteside or Dragic, or 2) call his bluff and let him opt out and possibly leave the Heat. I see another option for Miami if they want to keep Wade that NOBODY is even consideringand it is to get rid of Bosh's huge max deal. That is one option that nobody has even thought of especially Heat fans since we are salivating at the thought of Bosh, Wade, Whiteside and Dragic and maybe Deng all playing together for 2015 and then maybe replacing Deng with Durant in 2016. The one "guaranteed" name in that lineup right now through 2016 is Bosh since he has his max deal and the ink has been dry for a while now. If anyone has been less productive since the "big 3" formed in 2011, it has been Bosh. He was the member of the big 3 that disappeared in the Finals last season. Since 2010-11, he has missed almost as many games as Wade has. In 2010, he was a 24 ppg, 11 rpg player. By 2014, he was a 16 ppg, 6.6 rpg player while Wade remained a consistent 21+ ppg, 5 rpg, 5 apg guy up until last season. The one thing he has going for him over Wade is he is 2 years younger. Wade is the more productive player on paper and the most important part of Miami's offense. If it came down to deciding between Wade or Bosh, I wouldn't hesitate to pick Wade. If Miami wants a chance at a title in 2016, I think they sign Wade to what he wants and deserves, sign Dragic and Whiteside then trade Bosh for a few good role players and maybe a high draft pick to free up cap space for a Durant type player in the summer of 2016.

Setting rid of D Wade will give the Heat some Cap Room to work with this season. Miami is such a great atmosphere to play in and is on its way back to become a playoff threat. I'm sure they won't have trouble getting a new, younger Shooting Guard.

If wade doesn't resign his ass better retire, he is not going to another team for the final 3 years (lets be honest with his injury history he won't go on like timmy d and retire when he is 40) of his career. He is a #HeatLifer i think he is bluffing to be honest, he will resign

Didn't Dwayne Wade opt out of his contract, and then immediately resign for less money with the belief that it would somehow be enough to lure LeBron back to MiamI? Meaning that he really couldn't do jack shit about it seeing how he already signed the contract to take less money? If that's the case, then that's really Dwayne's fault if you think about it.

Sure, Chris Bosh mentioned that he would've taken a pay cut too had LeBron stayed with the Heat, but he didn't sign anything though before LeBron made up his mind. He only said that he would do it in principal while waiting to see what LeBron would do first. Whereas Wade, he took a leap of faith and signed a contract offering less money to sacrifice for LeBron and the Heat.

Don't get me wrong, i do agree with people that Wade should get paid well like the Lakers are doing with Kobe, during his twilight years. However, it's really Wade's fault. If he was going to opt out of his contract to take less money for LeBron, then that's one thing. However, he should've been smart like Bosh and only verbally agree to do that if LeBron resigned, and then play the waiting game from there. After LeBron went to Cleveland, then he could've tried to negotiate for a max contract afterwards. Now, he's fucked. I'm sorry, but he is.

Now, he's put Miami in a difficult predicament. On the one hand, if they pay him a max deal, then they could be shooting themselves in a foot considering Wade's questionable health in recent years, and the fact that they need to resign Goran Dragic, who might be the future of this franchise.

But on the other hand. If they don't pay him the money that he wants after how much of a fuss Riley has made about LeBron being disloyal, it's going to make them look like hypocrites to the world, and it could deter future free agents from signing with them. Not a great place to be pr wise because now everyone is fucked here. the best case scenario would be to resign wade for the max. and pray to god he's healthy throughout most of his contract. However, I doubt it.

Something tells me that Wade is either going to get a short term contract offering more money, or he'll have to agree to a pay cut with longer years attached because I can't imagine a lot of teams will line up for him given his age and injury problems.

1.Been with them since day 1 (12+ years)
    2.Made south beach SOUTH BEACH.
3.Brought them their first championship and was a big impact on getting their next 2.
    4.Franchise leader in points,steals,assists.
5.Took a paycut for LeBron and took one after he left for the good of the team.
6.The reason LeBron and bosh came which is the reason they have two more rings.
7.Does service for the poor and children in Miami.

The LAST thing you take away from Dwade is loyalty when it comes to that franchise and city. Miami better wake the fuck up and give the man whet he deserves. I think he will stay but wont have a problem with him leaving to get his money after taking 2 paycuts. He will still get the jersey hung up still be loved by us REAL heat fans and will always be remembered as the greatest heat player in their history.
Just to put it out if he leaves he should go to the bulls. If not Miami why not end ur career in your hometown while teaching those younger guys how to win and ALSO being a mentor and giving guidanceto derrik rose who hasn't had anyone to do that. Bulls fans better hope if he leaves he comes there.

Wade has shown loyalty to heat his entire career, moment he wants some they shut him out. He can't even personally make a statement for a month unless he'll get a massive fine, for breaking contract guess we wait and see.
