I remember this commercial because I am in it!!! I'm the kid handing the pizza through the window at the beginning. I worked at Showbiz in Garland, TX and was selected to be in the commercial that was filmed in White Settlement, TX. I still have tons of friends from that place. I'm glad I found this video!!!
This memory was a very nostalgic slap to the face. I never was 100% sure Dick van Patten had advertised for them but now I remember. Thank you for putting this video up. It's such a strong memory from my childhood. It was taken over by Chuck E Cheese in my town before that one also went bankrupt.
I remember these commercials! granted, I was a toddler at the time Showbiz pizza was still going by that name and then, Chuck E. Cheese bought them out.
At one point in the late-80s/early-90s, my area had both a Showbiz and Chuck E. Cheese. The one Showbiz location I know of turned into Chuck E. Cheese about 15 or 20 years ago. From what I remember Showbiz had the better pizza.
And now it tastes like crap
0:04 Really? Because I remember Showbiz shut down since Chuck E Cheese's was more popular. Also at 0:26 she looks like she's gonna throw up XD

Actually the pizza is probably the last reason to go to showbiz. As a kid I remember taking a few bites and jumping back in the ball pit again.
Before it was Chuck E. Cheese's, there was Showbiz Pizza.
That gorilla was racist.
I thought showbiz pizza, pizza tasted better than Chuck E.
Where a kid can be a kid!
That gorilla sounds like Chef from "South Park"

I think I went to Showbiz a couple of times before they change it to Chuck E. Cheese's.
