I wouldn't mind his dislike of Lost World if his criticisms were actually valid. For one, he played a single zone and then judged the entire game based off it. That's poor reviewing technique to begin with. Not just that, but Lost World wasn't a ripoff of Galaxy at all. The only element you could consider an imitation was the individual platform gravity. The games were very different. Also, Sonic games constantly introduce new mechanics, so when he brought up the run button all I heard was, "I expected a game identical to what I grew up with and was angry when the controls weren't exactly the same". A run button seriously isn't a big deal, and I personally found it helpful while playing. The game had a huge platforming emphasis, so it makes sense that there were two separate modes for running and jogging. His whole tangent just showed a serious lack of proper reviewing technique and an even greater lack of professionalism. How on Earth was this the time for it? During a stage analysis? He could have posted this on his own channel instead of dragging it here. It was just annoying.
wow, you really ripped on sonic lost world, didn't you? It's not even really a run button so much as it is a "parkour" button. And while it's easy to draw similarities to Mario Galaxy, it's a different and fun experience. Is it as good as mario galaxy? imo, no. But not a bad game by any means. The only parts i really dislike are the boss fights and the inclusion of a life system. I highly encourage you to go back and give the game a second try, perhaps you could take your time drawing comparisons to the mario galaxy series, and why they made the changes in sonic lost world to make a unique experience to call it's own. And if you wish, conclude why you think it's an inferior experience. Protip, read the controls in windy hill, it will make your experience of the game much more enjoyable. I've heard from a countless number of reviewers say that they skipped the tutorials and had an awful time, after replaying the game to get a better grip on it for their review, they suddenly had a much better time, because they were much more familiar with the controls.
I must be the only one who doesn't have a problem with most of the recent Sonic games. Then again, I only played theLost World and Shattered Crystals demo.

Is that Bustre I hear at 2:51? The repeated sample and percussion sound like a perfect match.
In smash bros Ryu or what ever is coming to smash

>Doesn't want to be known as "the negative guy"
>Goes on a huge negative rant
kek
am i the only who can find nothing about what the omega stage actually is?
Ummm pretty sure mario galaxy was a copy of SA2 thoo…..
No offense to anyone, but I prefer MatPat's videos. That's just me.

inhale my dong negativement guy.
Who else had no clue those small animals had names?
How the hell is this the first time I've ever heard that Green Hill Zone was in SA2? Dammit, now I have to go collect all those emblems…
Don't reply. I hate google+.
I don't get the hatred towards Lost World, at least those reasons. I'd rather play that over the 2D levels of Unleashed where you just boost to win.
How can you say you hate sonic lost world yet you only played one stage…….
You should try playing the 3DS version of lost world. It's painful……
STILL no game theory!!!!!
I hope mat is alright
"ripping off Mario Galaxy"
Gee, somebody's a Mario fanboy.
he dislikes sonic lost world.
who cares?
I really really wish Nintendo could develop a Mario and sonic platformer. It would be epic
