They train for this. They run simulated screwups and learn to sit there and make sure the data is coming in, stored, and managed properly for the investigation. This is the launch center at KSC and if it were closer to the ground they would be coordinating with whatever assets were required.

Today I learned that I am not even remotely mature enough to work for SpaceX.
I think I would have the same reaction if I watched a few billion dollars disintegrate in 5 seconds.
When I first observed this video I thought it was stuck on pause. I think embarrassment was the overriding emotion. They were stupified!!!
